Peggy Strachan was born in New York City.
A graduate of Harvard University, she was formerly

a fashion designer in Paris,
a farmer in Normandy,
an investment banker in New York, and then
a financier at Sotheby’s in London,

all of which makes her the perfect person to write about golf with a fresh, unbiased eye!

Peggy took up golf 12 years ago and has been either laughing or crying ever since. Not naturally gifted athletically but absolutely passionate about the game, she has taken several hundred lessons, attended golf school four times, spent untold hours on the range and played at more than 100 courses in all corners of the world. She is a member of the Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club in London and the Valderrama Golf Club in Sotogrande, Spain. She lives in London with her husband, Ian.
